Capacitive stylus for $8: is it any good?

Have been wanting to buy a capacitive stylus for a while, but the price was always more than I wanted to spend.  Amazon is now selling this one for $8, so I think I may bite.  Does anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks!

I always felt that the stylus was for when touch screens weren't developed that well.  Touch screens now, especially on the newer phones, work really well.  So basically, what would you need a stylus for that you wouldn't be able to use a finger tip or nail for?  Are you drawing on your phone?  Maybe it's pinpoint precision when browsing the web?

Personally, if I bought a stylus - I'd use it for 1 day, if that, then realize I no longer needed it for my phone.

I would have to agree with protege on this one. These screens, IMHO, are so good that a stylus would just be one more thing for me to lose. So, unless the ole touchscreen callous is getting a little too thick, I would see a stylus as a waste of money. But that's just me.
