Can you change your gmail acct on the droid x? and if so how? I never had a gmail acct .before recieving the droid x. I still use my yahoo.email as my current email....
You need to get a Gmail account.
Go on the internet setup an account... I recommend using a PC (keyboard is much easier to type with).
On Droid X, Settings -> Accounts
Add account Gmail (Google).
If you did not set up a Google account when you activated your Droid, open the apps drawer and tap on "my accounts." Tap on "add account." The rest of the steps you have to go through are pretty much self-explanatory and easy to follow. This is also true if you already set up a Gmail account. Welcome to the land of robots.
