Charge freezes only when home..

Got the droid charge the other day, and it works great when I'm out and about (got my first 4G signal while out today, speedy!!) but when I am home, the phone struggles, and I have to battery-pull reset it about 4-5 times before I get annoyed and just shut it off..

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Also while home, I get almost no signal (no bars, 1 bar, no server indicator, Thanks VZW for Telling me I'll have FULL 3G coverage where I live, and THEN telling me I may have to step outside to make and receive calls.. Really?.. REALLY? Anyways..)

Could the phone's lack of signal be effecting its freezing, and locking up? And amazing lag while trying to do ANYTHING at all with it.. Again, this only happens when I am at home, in any room of my house.. Strange isn't it?

Thanks!

My Droid Charge froze alot too.   I would have to pull the battery to get it to run again.   What I did was make sure everything was backed up, pictures, video, music, and contacts.   Then I did a Settings/Privacy/Factory data reset.   It makes the phone just like  it came out of the box.  After you go through the guided setup, your apps will redownload.   All you need to do is restore you pictures and contacts and stuff.   My Phone hasn't locked up since.

I will have to try that, though just getting the phone, and putting getting it all configured, I really do not want to have to factory reset yet another droid (had a fascinate, that I had to reset after the *Amazing* 2.2, and 2.2.1 updates...) but I will try that. Worst that can happen is that it doesn't solve my problem, but my question still stands, why does this only happen when I am at home?

Good Afternoon Meridian828,

If the master reset mentioned doesn't correct the issue.  Please PM me the mobile number, MEID(Settings>Phone Info) and Software (also Phone Info) and I will escalate this to our product team for research.

Thank you!
