I just did a factory reset and now when I go to charge it, it takes 2 or 3 times longer now to charge. Are there any settings that I need to look at or is this just the way it is? Please help.

Anyways, I simply turn the phone off and let it completely charge till the green light comes on. Do that once and you should be all set.
Charging speed should improve also. This is also considered a bump charge too. (extra battery life)
That's how I found this fix, by bump charging.

you can try either of the 2 mentioned above. however you charge it...it will eventually begin to charge faster. mine still takes longer then before, but not nearly as bad as the first couple of days that i had froyo. i think day one took about 3 hours, then 2.5...now i think it's less than 2 hours to charge a completely drained battery.

Really? Mine takes FOREVER. At 20% it is a 5 hr process without the bump charge.

I dont have WiFi on. Maybe I will just shut 3G down while I charge and see how that works. I am usually sleeping. Thanks for the suggestion.

At work I get zero reception so I switch to aeroplane mode and plug in my charger. I watch movies and play games and charging still only takes an hour or less.
Now are you dreaming about how to rapid charge your phone? Or dreaming about my job?
Dream on brother....

i have a question. i've read that you can't "overcharge" these newer devices/batteries. however, i know with almost ALL of my electronic device, i've killed the battery life and drastically extended the charging time (ie left camera plugged in overnight a number af times, killing the life and requiring much longer to charge after that). is this possible with the inc? i only ask since budone charges overnight and seems to have a pretty significant charge time issue.

I did a test last night. I ran the battery down to 14%. I woke up four hours later and the battery was still charging at 83%.
Today I am streaming continuously to see how long my battery lasts with emails coming in also. right now. 2:56 with 23% left. So about 3:1/2 hours. Not bad.

What was your battery life percentage???? Never mind, did not see the red. I do charge over night and when I am getting ready for the day I do the bump charge. They really helps my battery lifr throughout the day.

I am thinking the same thing. If I disconnect the cable and charge via my laptop or printer it is quicker. Is that an ittem I can take in under warranty and have replaced?
I have been charging for nearly an hour I have gone from 23% to just 40%
Thanks for ideas. I really appreciate it.
