Why wont it charge or how do you know if its charging ?
Some more details would be helpful. I think the DROID X had a LED indicator that glowed orange when the phone was charging. Perhaps someone who has or did have the DROIDX wwill respond.

The battery will go up and down, or the lock screen will give you a percent that it's charging.
It glows Green Color & blinks when plugged in and on and charging -- Ann ) Op if your phone is off when charging then it will show the battery with a green floating Animation and it should show the Level.. if it does this it's Normal and is charging..
