Cheap Clicking Sound Near Camera??

I know most of us are wondering why Verizon is talking so long to push 2.2 out, but while we wait I figured I would pose this question. Does anyone else hear a cheap sounding clicking noise while flicking the back of the device near the top of the camera? I have noticed this for quiet some time and have not wanted to go fight the lines at the local Verizon yet. I can also hear it when I put the phone done on a table or hard surface. It's not a huge deal but for the price and monthly service I pay I expect better quality. Just seeing if this is only my phone and I need a replacement or on everyone's.
Also when the volume is up all the way while on a call, the speaker sounds pretty bad. I usually end up having to turn the volume down for it to go away but then I struggle to hear the person I am talking to sometimes.
Again just curious if this is across the board or am I just lucky?

it's the speaker. the speaker is cheap (very disappointing). you can return it but the new one will still make that sound. most people don't notice it because you sort of have to tap the phone or create some kind of contact to hear it. but i suspect every inc does this. i've seen a number of threads about this issue. it's also why it sounds bad when you max the volume. cheap speaker!

Its actually the metal piece that surrounds the headphone hole on the battery cover. A TINY dab of hot glue (or whatever glue) will keep it from vibrating and making noise.

took the battery cover off and it's still vibrates when tapped. i'm sticking by my "cheap speaker" theory. however...now that you mention it, the cover, by itself, also rattles (less pronounced than my speaker).

Never noticed it before, but it does sound like something loose when you tap the back near the top of the phone. I just received a replacement (brand new) for a different issue and it makes the same noise. I have the same issue with the speaker on high, but I haven't seen a cell phone yet that does have a decent speaker. I use BT most of the time anyway.

ope....you're not the only one. it's simply a CHEAP speaker. i know these phones can only be so loud....but we use my brother in law's bb at the pool and it sounds great and is much louder than our speakers. i expected the inc to put in a speaker AT LEAST as nice as a bb since the inc is geared much more toward entertainment vs business use.

If you have tried turning the volume all the up and it's still not loud enough for you then you should try audiomanger from the market. I hope this helps.
