Good thing I searched the forums before trying again.  I have been trying to update the software on my Droid Pro for the past 2 months and kept getting the "check for update not available at this time, please try again later" message.  Now that I have unchecked the sync over wi-fi setting, it's actually searching for the update.  Thanks folks!
