Clock screensaver in dock mode

I just updated my phone and now when docked in the multimedia station, a clock screensaver comes on after a short time. The reason I got the dock was so that I could see emails and texts come in so this is terribly annoying. Is there any way to turn this off??

It's now made to do that. The only way to avoid it is to hit the back button and go to your main home screen; otherwise, it's going to the bouncing screen saver if the dock screen is up. Believe there may be some 3rd party replacements that can be used in place of the stock multimedia mode clock but not sure what they are.

...or check out "Alarm Clock Plus v2" in the Market.

It's built upon the same dock clock but has a few more features, and I believe the ability to turn the screensaver off.

Better Alarm also has option to turn off screensaver. base version is free; Pro version is ad free
