Contact Birthdays/Anniversaries: No More Edit on DX?

And once more:
I remember, about a hundred years ago last Monday, I could edit the birthday and anniversary fields on my phone contacts. Looks like those fields are now gone from the contacts app.
Where'd that go? Am I missing something?
Figured I'd better ask first...
By the way, I'm not all complaints. I very much like the new contacts layout, divided by name, and easy to scroll using the right screen index line. Reminds me of those old spring-loaded contact pads: run the plastic selector to the letter tab and press the big front lever button and POP! There's the "M"s.

Correct - for whatever reason, they removed the editing ability of those fields in GB. You have to do it online, in Google mail (contacts) .... or if you're Syncing Outlook, it comes to the phone that way as well. If you edit it in Google, it updates right away, when you save it. Sorry.
