Does anyone know how to delete the CONTACT HISTORY?? I can delete text messages and call log, but not contact history.
What do you mean when you say contact history? Do you mean your calling history? If so, click on the Recent tab then click the menu button and select clear list. If you want to delete just single contacts from your recent call log, long press on the contact and a menu will pop up. You can select delete from there.

No, on your phone, go to contacts, slide your screen to the right, it is now on contact: history. Every text and call you have ever made is there. I have talked to numerous people from Tech support to Motorola and no one can tell me how to erase or delete that history. I can delete my call log, and text messages but not contact history. I hope this makes sense, it's easier to talk than type it, lol
I know what you mean immortal. even though i have had this x since july 16th my contact history shows messages as far back as may 13th 2006. i can press the menu button for a delete option but what it wants to do is delete the contact and not the messages. I wouldn`t call this a bug but more of a design flaw. I hope they can issue a fix for this flaw.

You know, I heard this from other people that EVERY event is in this contact history, but my contact history only goes back 10 events. Text nessage, call, etc. If a new one happens, like a text message for example, the oldest entry drops off and the new one is added.
To test this, I just called my wife and in her contact history on my phone, a text message she sent me on Sept 2nd, dropped off the bottom and it added an outgoing call to my wife at the top. Still only 10 entries.
Does anyone have any information on how to correct this? Is there a menu option or something that needs to be changed. Even Verizon doesn't seem to know.
get the new update to version 2.3.15 in th settings. This update solves this issue.
Try HistoryEraser from market, there is a option for this but I havent tried that option myself.
HELP SOME/ANYONE...I'm trying to view my calls from my PC....how must I do that?
Log into your on-line MyVerizon account; current minutes/text/data usage logs can be found under Current Usage. Previous bills' usage can be found under View My Bill, then use the drop-down for the billing period you want to view.
