I have many contacts stored via Backup Assistant of people that are also Facebook contacts. However, the information I have for many of my BA contacts is information they do not include on Facebook and therefore they are now showing up as two different entries. Is there a way to eliminate the Facebook contact entries without removing the Facebook app? I also have a number of contacts on Facebook (like high school friends) that I would never need to call and don't want to scroll through them to find the numbers I really need. TIA!

Hi -
This happened to me and I hate it. I may just go through and delete everything when I get a chance.
What I did was, make everyone I actually call a "favorite" and then I display just that in my contacts.

Open the facebook-app and press the menu-button, then go to settings. Under the item contact-sync, you can select which facebook-contacts are synced with your phone. There are 3 options (none, only contacts that are already on your phone, all contacts). Selecting none should solve your problem.
