Contact photos not updating on Droid 2....any suggestions?

I have a Droid 2 for several weeks. I did the initial set up and linked it to gmail and facebook. All of my contacts were downloaded with the appropriate profile pics from facebook. Since then, there has been no updating of contact pic's at all. I get a notification in the Motoblur Social App that so and so has updated their contact pic, but my Droid 2 doesn't update them in the contact list. I've gone through the settings and can't find anything specific to enable/disable this. Does anyone have a better inisght on this than I do?

Try to remove your facebook account on your device then add your account back to link your account to your device. There could be a system error.

Do you mean remove the Facebook Application or the Facebook Account from the "Social Networking" app? I only ask as if I do the latter of the two, I will have to re-link all my contacts after re-adding the Facebook account, which doesn't seem too fun! :smileymad:

I suspect that Morgan means for you to go into Settings -> Accounts and remove the Facebook Account there. This may require you to "relink" contacts as you fear (I've not tried it to see).

Syncing contacts images with facebook has always been a bit of a mystery to me. They don't do it when I expect, but do sometime, as at some point I'll notice that they changed :-D
