Contacts last names first

Outlook 2002 contacts exported to Gmail as last name first but many contacts came in as first name first on desktop and device. How do I change all contacts to last name first?

D2 only allows contacts to be sorted by First Name at this time. 

Android OS actually has a setting for this but Motorola has "customized" the contacts manager a bit on the D2 based phones and it doesn't yet support this setting.
