After deleting a few games I found that almost all of my contacts have been removed except for 4 random numbers. When I checked my Google account all the contacts are still listed there so I have no idea what happened and now can't text anyone since I don't have any numbers unless I reenter the contact info. What a waste of time, I should not have to add every single person back onto my phone.
When I try to enter the "market" nothing happens. A few days ago I was also having problems texting some of my family members, I kept getting SMS errors.
Do I need to into a store to get my phone looked out? This is ridiculous.
Dont get how a game can effect contacts but have you try going to Dialer / All Contacts / Menu / View and make sure Google is checked for contacts?
With the market issue try going to Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All Tabs / Market / Clear Data
For the issue with the market is clear data the same as clear cache? If so, that did not fix anything.

No usually there is a clear data option... I figured clearing cache wouldnt worked..

Open Phone Dialer (Where you make calls) and go to all contact list....
The clear data button is "grayed out" I can't press it to try to fix the market.
Google is also not there as an option under my contacts.
Is your gMail account setup on the device, what happens when you open the gMail app?
When I press gMail, the same thing happens that happens when I click the market. I get a brief white screen then back to the home screen.
Sounds like you email gMail account got corrupted some how..
You can delete the google account without factory reset, go to the Settings / Applications / Manage Applications / All Tabs / Gmail and then clear the user data option, once you clear the Gmail data from application you may see a notification alert and that will require you to do the gmail setup again, setup gmail account again to register.
NOTE: (This may not be needed but lets play safe) Export contacts before doing this to save contacts because contacts and logs may get deleted in this process, so make sure you have a complete contact listed some where or better sycn it with previous gmail account and then export that from gmail. Once you setup the different account, import that contact and sync again.
Export
1. Log into Gmail/Google Voice
2. Click on Export to CSV
3. Save File as (or Rename to) Contacts (it should already be converted to CSV so including .csv is redundant)
Import
1. Log into Gmail/Google Voice
2. Click on Contacts
3. Click on Import
4. Browse for the Contacts (.csv) file
5. Click Import
