Contacts not Pairing to 2011 Hyundai Elantra-DANGEROUS PROBLEM!

BellaM
Newbie

I am so upset.  I asked the manager of the Fairfax, Va Verizon store to explain how to sync my phone contacts to my new car to enable voice dialing.  I was told, too bad...so sad... it doesn't work in my car with the Droids. But I could get another phone that MAY work but I would have to pay a $35 restocking fee for the DROID.  I bought the Droid 2 days ago!!  I told the kid who sold it to me what kind of a car I had and he even helped me to buy a cord to listen to music from my phone.  HOW do I get my contacts available to me on my car's Bluetooth Voice activated System?  My new car is a 2011 Hyundai Elantra.

That manager's an idiot. Android didn't support bluetooth voice dialing on eclair (Android 2.1) but your phone launched with Froyo (Android 2.2) which supports bluetooth voice dialing. What the VzW employee has no way to help you with, however, is how to trigger voice dialing on your car bluetooth system, you'd have to ask your car dealership for help with that.
