i was uninstalling some unneeded apps from my phone and then all of a sudden it just freaked out and i would hit the back button and it would go to facebook, then recent calls, then my words with friends app, and then facebook and over and over. if i hit the home button it wouldn't do anything. i tried to reset it and now it's just stuck on the screen with the big circle and the two little circles beside it. the bottom buttons turn on and if i push the lock/unlock button it lights up, but it won't do anything.
help?

Hello ashtencae,
I can imagine how frustrating it is to have your phone completely freeze up. When you mentioned the phone was reset, did you simply turn it off or pull the battery? Has there been any physical or liquid damage to the device? I would like to troubleshoot further if still needed. Please let me know if I can assist.

My wife's phone had the exact same thing happen. I was able to reset the first time it happened but it gets stuck at the screen with the red dots and will only reatart with a battery pull. It has had no water or physical damage.

It sounds like the others are experiencing the same problem as me. If so, this is not an appropriate solution because you cannot access your menu or the browser. Is there anything else to do other than a factory reset?

your going to have to do a master reset to fix this issue. i have had the same problem.
1. take battery out of phone (with phone on)
2. put battery back in, and press and hold the VOLUME DOWN and POWER button at the same time.
3. this will bring up a menu. scroll down to master reset, and select it.
4. follow through with this, and when your phone finally powers on, it will look as if you just purchased it out of the box.
5. go through the activation and then you will be okay.
NOTE: KEEP THE BACK COVER OF THE PHONE ON WHILE DOING THIS. the back cover is part of the phones antenna, and WILL effect the reset process.
