Every time I shut down phone it reboots itself within 1 to 2 minutes. After shutting down the 2nd time it stays off! Any fixes for this?
I understand your frustration but posting same post 3 times wont change the situation..... Usually clearing the system cache resolves this issue...
1. Turn the Droid 2 off.
2. Open the keyboard and press the X key while pressing Power. The device will power on. Keep holding the X button down until a white triangle with yellow exclamation mark appears.
3. Press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously to bring up the menu. (You may have to try this a few times before it works)
4. Select the Wipe cache option. Use the Power key to confirm it.
7. After process complete , highlight reboot system now is highlighted then tap OK.
Took me so long to register just so I could kudo you and then it tells me you can't get kudos. What is this. Your suggestion worked. Thanks very very much

I bought an Android 2 phone from Verizon about 6 months ago. Never had ANY problem until the new "firmware update" took place. Then all the problems occured with the rebooting as seen here in this posting. It just seems that Verizon would "get it" after all these posts...
