For the past 6 months I have had nothing but problems with the Droid Charge!! I had the SIM card replaced about 3 times because the phone was dropping 4G coverage, I wasn't receiving the texts people were sending me and people weren't receiving my texts, it was dropping calls, it was freezing and restarting on its own. I finally received a replacement about a month and a half ago and today the phone shut off and would not turn back on. The Samsung symbol would show up on the screen, but it wouldn't actually load all the way. So I went into the store today and they were not able to get it to turn on so they are sending me ANOTHER replacement that I will receive tomorrow.
I called Customer Service when I got home to see if they could do anything for me other than send me ANOTHER REPLACEMENT because I am so livid about this whole situation!! They were only willing to give me a $20 credit on my account. I asked if they were willing to give me an early upgrade a month early and all they keep telling me is NO!!!! They no longer do early upgrades, which I have nothing against if you are just upgrading early because you want a new phone, but I am so sick of getting replacement phones when I plan on upgrading anyways on August 24th and I guarantee that this replacement is going to have some kind of problem prior to then. They told me that they need to make their money back on the cost of the phone and they no longer give out early upgrades. It is ONE MONTH!!!! I don't think it is going to hurt them to satisfy a customer that has had nothing but problems for the past 6 months and pays about $300 a month and has had an account with them for 10+ years. So instead I am getting a replacement in the mail tomorrow that I am going to have to take the time to set up just to turn around and have to go through the whole thing again in another month!! I JUST WANT A DROID THAT IS GOING TO WORK AND NOT GIVE ME PROBLEMS FOR HOW MUCH MONEY I AM PAYING A MONTH AND HOW MUCH MONEY THESE PHONES COST!!!
