1. IMAP email account cannot communicate with server; even though settings have been confirmed with webmaster, email in/out does not work.
2. What happened to the selection of specific security certificates (is SSL) which could be done on DROID?
3. Is all of the NYC/Metro arae considered 3G marginal service...according to the phone, 3G is a fleeting event; cannot hold onto 3G long enough to complete a data event
4. Facebook notifications are not appearing on the notification bar, even though activated in settings
5. Google(.com) cannot obtain location...says "location unavailable" and even when update, complete failure...regardless of whether in a 3G are or not.
6. The phone is arbitrarily changing port settings that were manually imputed for the various IMAP accounts.
7. When phone is charging (untouched), there is no way to verify that it is actually charging unless you press the power button to get the battery icon

#2 - I would think "no" but maybe the tall buildings prevent you from getting great coverage. Right now I am not getting a 3G connection and I am able to connect to the internet, receive email, etc.
#3 - I though that "use secure connection" was the SSL. I could be wrong though.
#4 - I haven't found a person yet who is receiving their Facebook notifications without using the SMS feature located within their Facebook account.
#5 - Turn on your features for use GPS satellites and enable assisted GPS.
#7 - Press your home key and it will bring back the screen so that you can see all of your icons, even the one that shows the battery with the lightning bolt over it. Or you can set your screen timeout to never so that you can see all of your icons, all of the time.

All GPS setting are enabled....regardless where I am, google cannot establish location ("location unavailable")
The DROID had an external charging indicator so that you did not have to actually interact with the unit to see if it is charging.
The included security certificates are vague, as opposd to Droid which actually has them individually listed for choice.
My problem with 3G goes beyond the city,...the whole metro area appears to be challenged; even when unit read 3G with 4 bars, the unit is unable to complete data applications satisfactorily
