DROID X2 = Piece of junk. Do not get it.

I am thoroughly disgusted with this phone.

Random reboots, random freezes, etc.... today I couldn't even make a call after it froze again. rebooted and it begins randomly dialing the last number dialed. battery pull finally stopped it temporarily.

have hard reset several times with no change. skips during music playback, even after moving mp3's to the phone from memory card.

unfortunately i purchased it used and therefore have no warranty.....now just trying to get rid of it.

my advice.....think long and hard before buying one of these. you may be in for a long period of frustration.

also...i am a tech geek and this is not my first android phone, i know all the tips and tricks. this is just a crappy phone. whether it is caused by the software or hardware i don't know for sure.

Being a tech geek, I'd love for you to explain why mine is working (mostly) well. Hell, I'd send it to you if I could do without it for a while.

Mine was kinda ginchy at first, but a factory restore has solved its twitchyness (oh, but I know, you've already done that, why did I waste the bandwidth bringing it up?).

Got any ideas why mine is working? I would think that "you are a liar" not to be an answer, but hey, it's a free country.

P.S. the only difference this time around is that I reformatted my SD card, which had been in my previous Droid X for almost a year...

Almost Everytime I read one of your replies it's rude when they aren't agreeing with you.Not everyones going to have a perfect experience like you have.Mine has worked fine some glitches.

Mines works fine, maybe if your the tech you say you are you should tweek your phone alittle.

I have "tweaked" it. Also have factory reset numerous times, formatted SD card, used 2 different SD cards..... NOTHING helps. Even leaving it at stock with no installed additional apps.

Just making people aware of the problems that a lot of people are having. If yours is working fine consider yourself lucky.

Nah...it ain't worth all that.

I'm just thankful for the loser/liar/shill/fanboy/VZW plant status I have achieved by having a phone that works (and daring to bring it up).

Yes, I caught that the first go-around.

But the OP is a tech geek, that wasn't his first Android phone and he knows all the tips and tricks. So that should be a moot point

Seriously, though, he might be all of that, I've no reason to doubt him. But his word isn't the Gospel according to Andy, as he would have the world to believe.
