I got a Droid on launch day & overall I'm REALLY happy with the phone. The main problem I have is trying to use several barcode scanning apps (including ShopSavvy). It takes like 15-20 "attempts" to capture the barcode, if it ever does. I hear/see the focus changing & it appears to have it correctly in-focus, then it goes blurry & fails. This repeats continuously on some barcodes. Others I've been able to scan still take 4-5 attempts with the camera focusing in & out trying to capture it.
Is this part of the "autofocus issue" that's going to be adressed in a patch, or do I need to get my phone replaced?
