Decreased Performance after Master Reset

Hey Everyone,

Looking for some feedback...had my Bionic for about 3 weeks now and performed my first Master Reset yesterday after Google Navigation and the Browser kept timing out when searching for whatever I typed in, along with freezing and lag on any other activities. Prior to the Master Reset, I performed the following steps in no particular order..

1) Turned phone off/on

2) Airplane mode off/on

3) Battery Pull

4) Uninstalled unused apps

So the next step was to perform a Master Reset. Once the Master Reset was complete, I noticed the speed of 4G (Currently in Santa Barbara,CA) decreased dramatically. Prior to the reset, I was averaging about 10-12 MBPS downloading and about 4-6 MBPS uploading...now I am averaging about 5-6 down and 1-2 up. Tried the same steps as above and it didnt seem to help.

Any suggestions? 5 down and 1 up is still pretty good, but seeing how this device was once capable of up to 12 down and 6 up, I am curious if another Reset is needed, or if I in fact damaged the device/SIM by performing the reset?

Thanks!

Ajnevares1, I agree, it sounds like you were getting some really great speeds before the reset. I don't see a reason why the reset itself would cause degradation in speed. Where are the same applications re-downloaded? Did you run the speed test in the same location? Try running the speed test at other times of the day to see if it is the same. If so, first try removing the SIM card from the phone for about 30 seconds and replace it in the phone. If still no changes, try another master reset.

Thank you,
