Hi Murph14,I don't like error messages either! Let's get this taken care of. Please go to your PC and log in to your email using your username and password. Then, try the steps again that are listed above to remove the account, and let us know how that works for you. Thanks!Christina BVZW SupportFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
go into your applications, manage apps, go to email and force stop/clear data. do the same thing for sync services
then try to remove again.. its a common issue on that phone sadly
You may have to do a factory reset and use a 3rd party app for email like k-9 mail
I have a Razar Max, andI nothig has worked so far. I haven't tried factory reset yet, trying to avoid this. I have worked around the problem by addinging another email account,my original AOL account and it at least gives me my email. The original account, the same AOL account simply will not delete. "Invalid Credentials"?
I read somewhere that there is supposed to be a way to delete the account from your on line Verizon account. How and where?
I need to delete a gmail account, and there seems to be no way to do it. I have tried everything, read the tutorials, read these posts, and ...> there is no REMOVE ACCOUNT option. I have a Samsung Stratosphere.
I let a visiting friend use my phone to check her travel arrangements, which meant we had to add her account, and now I can't delete it. Feeling like a voyeur!
Hello community! Murph14, if you're still having the same issue, the next step would be to complete a factory reset. This step resolves minor issues like the one you described. Let me know if this helps! ChaunceyM_VZWSupportFollow us on twitter @VZWSupport
