Dinc 1 calendar- no repeat reminders after 2.3 update

I have the droid incredible 1 and just updated it to the 2.3 update when they sent it to me within the last week. I use the calendar all the time. Before the 2.3 update, I used to get repeat reminders for a scheduled event if I missed the 1st one because of being away from my phone. After the update, I only get the first alert for the scheduled event. I called Verizon customer support and they couldn't come up with an answer although they were very nice. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Cmfaifar and Wantofish,

Are you referring to using Google Calendar or an App? I do apologize for the issue but there is nothing showing the update related to the calendar. If you using Google Calendar, updating your calendar can be an option to have the reminders and repeat reminders sent to your device. When going into the Calendar, at the top of the event creation screen is an option for saving the event in a drop down box. You'll need to click on this option, and change it from PC Sync to Google Calendar. From that point on, confirm your settings to have the reminders and even repeated reminders sent to your device as before. There has been a known issue with Google Calendar in not sending alerts out as well. Google suggested some users resetting their notifications within their settings resolves these issues while others have found that exporting the affected calendar and importing it into a new calendar has worked for them as well. Here's a link that you can use as a reference as it relates to the Google Calendar.

The only thing that I found that fixes my/this problem is to down load the app calendar snooze from the andriod market. I have the free version and so far so good. Lots of choices with this app.
