I just got the new Charge, and I'm having problems transitioning from my Motorola Droid to the Charge. One of the characteristics I liked with my Droid is when I was charging the display would remain on. I can't find that option on the Charge.
Can I do that? If so, where is it?
And also is the only way to get rid of all the apps that are preinstalled is to root the phone??? Really?
Thanks.

For the stay awake while charging, go to settings > applications > Development > stay awake check on.
There is no way to officially remove the preinstalled applications. Discussion of the unofficial ways are frowned upon on this community per the Terms of Service.

Hmmm, apparently Samsung has removed a few options from the stock Android OS.
I'm out of ideas. Sorry.
