While waiting for 2.2 update, realized that my internal memory available is down to 31MB. Wondering if 2.2 requires some minimum amount of free internal memory before it can be installed. Does anyone know?
If I remember correctly the 2.1 update required 25 mb of internal memory. I think you should be good. if it needs more the update will let you know during install and it will bring you to the app manager to remove some unused apps.
I also found this pdf on the Motorola website under Support, and I selected the Droid. It gives a review of the changes from 2.1 to 2.2.
