It amazes me that they  their network crashed, what a bunch of crap, like they could not be ready for this, maybe they should have had people available for the first night. I am so mad, been trying for 2 hours and time to give up,what an embarasement, just when I thought they might get it together they one again step in it. Time to rethink about moving to another carrier. and people make fun of ATT network ,forget about it Verizon takes the prize tonight

First of all, I have no idea what you're talking about.  What network crashed?  The Verizon website?  I noticed it was a bit sluggish when placing my order, and I'm sure it will be under heavy load throughout tonight, tomorrow, and probably through the weekend.

I would be very careful about blasting them for this and saying that AT&T is better.  I seem to recall that AT&T's/Apple's activation services puked under the load for every new iPhone that's come out.  You'd think they'd have learned their lesson after the first iPhone debuted, and especially after the iPhond 3G, but apparently not.  Even the debut of the iPhone 3GS brought on activation service issues, although not nearly as bad that time.

WAAWAAWAA. ROFL [edit] . Ordering the next day isn't much difference than having to have it AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT. [edit] go into a store to get it. FFS.
