Download EarthLink email from my DROID X to my computer

I am still learning about all the neat things the Droid-X has to offer. One particular item that I have not found a solution to is downloading all of my email messages from the device and porting over to my computer. I am a data packrat and even though the message may be in my EarthLink email account, I would still like to have a way to download all the messages off the droid, to free up space. Right now I have over 200+ email messages and just want to move them.

Any help or assistance in doing this would be appreciated!!!

Your email is on the Earthlink server. They get transferred to your phone when you "check mail" using you email APP on the phone.  If you want to get the emails to your PC as well, your option would be to NOT delete them from the Earthlink server after downloading to your phone (a setting in EARTHLINK or your email APP?); then go to you PC and download them there if you want.

I don't know of an APP or method to get emails back to your PC unless you manually FORWARD them back to your email account online. I suppose you can hook up your phone to your PC via USB (or any other method) and try to find the email folder on the phone. But even if you can find the email, it may be encrypted or unusable on your PC ...
