Okay so when you view the Droid 2, or any smartphone for that matter, underneath the price it says it requires a data package of $15 a month or higher. However if you click on the data package link that is also on the same page there are only two options for data packages, medium usage $10 and heavy usage $30 and it says that either of those two can be used with smartphones.
So can you use the medium usage $10 plan with the Droid 2?

It seems either they are changing things to take away the unlimited plan or there is a glitch. If you go through the process as if you are getting a phone it gives you the $15 limited and $30 unlimited options but if you just click on the links where the phone is on the first page it shows you a $10 for 25mb and $30 for 5GB option.
The $15 and $30 unlimited option both can be used for Droid 2 phones.
The $10 for 25mb option says its only good for multi media phones and not smart phones but when you go to sign up it doesn't even give you the option to choose that plan so right now that doesn't matter, it may change tomorrow or sometime soon though. They were talking about dropping the unlimited plan earlier this year but for some reason didn't so this may just be a sign of things to come.

But it says
"We offer three ways to add data to your calling plan. Note that for Smartphones and Multimedia phones, you will need to add either the "Medium Usage" or "Heavy Usage" package to your calling plan."
