I recently got a droid 2 global and I am now on my second phone with the same problem. I enter events on the calendar and they often disappear. Tech support can not figure it out. A store sales person suggested I go to the app market and pick out a different calendar app there. There are over 2000 to chose from. Why should I have to sort through 2000 plus apps because the one that came on the phone does not work? I know to make sure that the calendar is synced to my gmail account and it is synced, and I still have the problem. Any one else had this problem or know of a solution?
