I really like the phone and have minor issues with the device.
I would like to be able to uninstall some of the apps that came pre-loaded on the device that I dont use. I have read that one must root their device to do so, but I feel we should be given the option to delete unwanted apps as long as they are not part of the OS. If we cannot delete, then give us the option to be able to hide them similar to what blackberry does. I also like the ability to create folders in blackberry and move apps to folders of particular interest. For example the Blockbuster app is not needed. I would like to remove this app from my phone especially since this company is in bankruptcy court and on the verge of closing several stores.
I have a 2010 ford and have been able to sync my phone and even got the text messaging to work. What I have not figured out is why when I get into the car the music on my phone automacally starts to play even when I don't select it to play. The only way to get it to stop is to hit the pause button, there is no stop button or way to turn off. I have searched and can not locate. Furthermore, when I make calls using the sync system, I have to turn the volume all the way up in order to hear the other person. My callers also mention to me they can barely hear me too. When I end the call I have to turn the volume down so that the radio is not blaring. How can this be corrected. I have contacted Ford and was informed this is an issue with VZW and the phone and not the system.
Thanks

Can't help with most of the items you mentioned; however, I think I can help with the apps. Unfortunately there is no legal way you can uninstall the preinstalled apps. There is an illegal way, but we will not talk about that. If you download LauncherPro, it gives you the option to make all unwanted apps invisible in your apps draw. I do have it, and I like it a lot better than the stock screens. As far as moving apps from one folder to another, open up "files" in the apps drawer, then tap on the menu key, you will see "New Folder". Just tap on that.

LauncherPro is great. Hides the stuff I don't want to see.
