Make sure you have installed the correct drivers on the device.

I installed the software 3 times and when I connect my phone to the computer it gives me a blue screen and reboots. It works fine on an old XP computer that I have.

When you say make sure the correct driver is installed on the device, are you referring to the phone or the computer?
