Droid 2 Market Apps not updating

I have the Droid 2 and recently my applications have stopped updating when in phone mode (e.g. 3G). They will begin to download but then I'll get the yellow triangle in the top left corner and get an error message. Applications will update fine if I'm connected to wi-fi at home but otherwise I cannot download new applications or update my existing ones. Has anyone else had this same problem or have suggestions on how to fix it? I am curious if this is an issue that came with the upgraded OS software as my phone recently upgraded to version 2.3.3 and I've had numerous other issues related to the updated software.

Hello jroze! I've been reading your concerns over your Droid 2's performance and I want to help. I too have a Droid 2 (mine is the Global version), though I haven't experienced any of the issues you've described. I got the 2.3 update several weeks ago and have had no problems with it's functionality. I am confident that we can get you to that point as well! You describe issues that seem to have started after the upgrade. How did that upgrade go? To your knowledge, did it complete without incident or interruption? Have you tried any resets of your phone?

There is a data saver feature that I think is new with 2.3.3. Look under Settings>Battery&data manager>Data saver

If this is checked, market updates (and some other downloads) will only happen when connected to Wifi. So, see if it is checked!
