After the System Update I don't have the down arrow at the bottom to get to apps that are not on my home screens. I can use the menue to add but what happens after all slots are full? I don't see how to remove any from my home screen.

I'm not totally sure of your question, but:

Froyo bottom screens:

From Picasa-Public

Gingerbread bottom screens:

From Picasa-Public

The center "circle with triangle" (app drawer) on Froyo screens is now the "square with circle and triangle" at the bottom right on Gingerbread screens.

Yea, I saw that after I called support and they had me reset to factory defaults which wiped out my Angry Birds which I was almost complete with three stars plus I had to download my apps again
