Droid 2 battery charging

How do I know when my Droid 2 battery is fully charged.  The phone is off and a battery was on the screen when I first plugged it in  but now the screen is blank.

1. Turn it on, you can charge it while it is powered on.

2. If the white led light next to the charge port is out, it's fully charged.

Thanks for the answer.  I figured it was something simple.
