This afternoon, I tried to use my D2 camera during my kid's party. I held the camera button down and the camera screen popped up and immediately closed. I held down the home button and selected Camera. Same thing happended. I hit the program button onthe home screen and selected Camera. Again, opened and immediately closed.
I shut down the phone and powered back up. No improvement. I took out the battery and let it sit with the battery out for a few minutes. No improvement. Any ideas?

I've heard that happens if your SD card isn't in. Is yours installed?

Ironically, I just took the card out and restarted. The camera actually stayed on with an indications that a SD card needed to be installed in order to take a picture. I put the card back in and the camera will not stay on again.
Is this card corrupted? Should i try another card? If so, how many GB is the max recognized?
Thanks.

32G max.
Go into notifications and change to USB mass storage. Plug the D2 into your PC and see if you can see the contents of the SD card. If not, then yes, there is probably something wrong with the card.

Possible solution...
Just went to the PC and plugged D2 in. USB Mass storage was selected. I deleted the contents of the dcim folder. I unplugged and the camera worked fine.
Thanks for your help, pool_shark...
Until next time....
Rod
