Droid 2 media volume

I just purchased a droid 2 and cannot get the media volume to stay adjusted....i cannot play any media sound...ringtones...video messages...etc. when i got to setting and adjust the media volume as soon as i ok and close the screen when i go back to check its off again??? any help??? thx...

The media and ringtone sounds are controlled by different bars.

Media is for music, video, youtube, etc, notification is for text messages and email.

Make sure you don't have the silent mode box checked.
