The configuration option for my mobile hotspot is greyed out. the wifi works, but I cannot change any of the settings. I just upgraded to Android 2.3.3, i'm thinking that has something to do with it.

osullivank, changing your wife/hotspot settings is important because this allows the connection of your phone with multiple wifi/hotspot networks and having that. This can be frustrating, if this is a major reason for purchasing this phone. From my experience and the experience of customers I have spoken with, in order to change the configuration of your hotspot on the Droid 2, you must first turn the wifi setting off. This will allow you the opportunity to change the settings. I have listed the steps below for your convenience.
Steps to enable and disable the wifi/Hotspot feature:
1.select menu
2. Select Setting
3. Select Wireless Networks
The Wifi is enabled when the green check mark is highlighted
