I just purchased a DROID 2 global last week.
I got my email set up on the phone with no problems, however when i log into Microsoft Outlook, i receive a Send/Receive error telling me it cannot complete the action because the account is being used by another device.
If i delete the account off of my phone, my microsoft outlook works fine. According to verizon there is not a way to turn off the email account........
Has anybody else ran into this situation? I find it hard to believe with all of the this technology I can't have my email on my phone and laptop.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

My wife and I have the same problem with our Droid X's, Charter e-mail, and MS Outlook. We can't get our mail in Outlook as long as our phone has the charter account set up. You're not alone. It would be nice to have a solution for this issue.

I too am having that same issue but not until I had to have my Droid 2 replaced and it has a differnt Kernal than my one I returned. The current Kernal I have is 2.6.32.9-g462500fdbretzm1@il93lnxdroid22 # 1 and my system version is 2.3.20.a955.verizon.en.US and I believe my returned phone had a 2.2.??? version. Maybe some technical person that monitors this could look into the differnce and figure out this problem as it is very inconvenient to have to turn off you phone to get emails to your computer. That also means that when my phone is off I cannot use up all those pricey minutes...Looking for help

I actually just got mine fixed. My emails were set up a POP3 in Outlook. I had to delete the current account and then set up a new one as a IMAP. This seems to have everything working fine.
