Help I'm having problems with my bluetooth. It is set up to connect to the bluetooth in my Audi. However, when it is connected I am not able to use the speech to text feature when sending text messages. The only way to get it to work is to shut off my car, remove the key and then turn the bluetooth feature off on my phone. Even if I am miles away from my car and I forget to turn the bluetooth feature off on the phone it still thinks I am connected and I cant use the speech to text feature and I cant even answer a phone call. Shouldn't the phone automatically disconnect when the car is turned off or when I am a good distance away from the car. Is this just a problem with my phone or is there some setting I need to adjust?

Hi Jodes015,
I understand your frustration with the Bluetooth in your Audi and the Droid 3. I took the liberty to go to Audi's website and did a search on "Bluetooth." I was able to find the following:
Your Audi vehicle may be equipped with a phone preparation utilizing a Bluetooth® interface to enable hands-free functionality (compatible mobile phones sold separately). You will need a Bluetooth® - enabled mobile phone in order to utilize this function. Not all Bluetooth® - enabled mobile phone models are compatible with Audi's phone preparation. However, most phones should have some level of functionality in the car refer to http://www.audiusa.com/bluetooth or contact your local Audi dealer for the latest listing of compatible phones.
Your posting did not mention which model Audi you have, so I was not able to enter that information at the website.
I hope this information is helpful. Have a great day!
