Just got a Droid 3. I really like the phone! I also got a Plantronics PLT_K100 Bluetooth device. It's supposed to allow you to use your phone through the radio on your car. It worked once, well, mostly, anyway. I pressed the button on the Plantronics and I heard through my phone "Please say a command". I said "Call Bill". The phone answered "Calling Bill". Then, I heard the phone ringing through the radio, and when answered, that was through the radio, too. When the call ended I heard "Call terminated" through the radio. That was the last time it worked. Now, the only thing I hear through the radio is "Call terminated"! I called Plantronics support, and was told to un-link the device, then remove it from the Droid, then turn off the Droid and remove the battery. Replace the battery and re-link the device. No joy - same issue. So I thought the Plantronics was defective. Took it back to the Verizon store and got a new replacement. It has the exact same issue! So now I think it is the Droid. There are very few settings on the Droid for Bluetooth and none has changed. I believe it is a software bug. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you cleared the pairing for the device and readd us? Also under the bluetooth settings there should be a hardfree option and this needs to be checked... Also the reciever requires you use a radio station try changing the station option..
I have a simular unit made by Jabra and it works fine, im not impressed with quality but it connects and works without issues.

Thanks for the reply. As I stated in my OP, following the suggestions from Plantronics support I unpaired the device, removed it from the phone, powered down and removed the phone battery, replaced the battery, then went through the pairing process again. No change. ;(
I had previously changed the radio station the Plantronics broadcasts to because the default is a station that is used in this area.
