From what I recalled reading I think the release date has been changed but new date has not been announced.

From what I have heard, it should be around the middle of the year, though nothing is solid yet.

When it was announced at CES, Verizon said it and other devices would be released in the first half of 2011. That could mean April or May or June. Only time will tell.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I heard today someone gota little peep out of motorola, so i thought I'd write them for the hell of it.  Here's what I had to say:

I've had this phone since they 1st came out a couple years ago. I'm actually on my 4th handset now (one was my fault) the rest including the current phone have all had issues.1st one didn't work out of the box and was replaced. 2nd ones touch screen quit working and opened apps randomly by itself, got a refurb for that one. 3rd was my fault, insurance gave another refurb. The one I have now has to have a factory reset done to it every couple of weeks in order to not get a low memory issue and text msg limit full even though there are no text msg's on the phone. On July 4th this phone will be sent off in a blaze of glory at our towns fireworks display attached to a concussion mortor, so that everyone will get to see the complete obliteration of my worthless phone. I have been waiting patiently for any news on the Bionic just as everyone else has, but I have finally met my limit and can't wait anymore. Can't wait that is unless you can give me (us) some little bit to go on other than this summer. Can you say that the early July rumors are false and not going to happen? Give your loyal supporters that got your phone on blind trust something to believe in. Some sort of taste of when it will be coming so that we don't have to lose complete faith. Do you realize, or care for that matter, how many of us you are **bleep** off? Do you care?
