I've had my Charge for a few weeks now and had it Synced with my 2011 Ford Fusion with no issues. I don't get a lot of texts but noticed a couple of times my Navigation screen did not alert me to the incoming text as it should . Yesterday I tried to view texts using Sync and got the message "Your phone does not support Bluetooth text." I tried unpairing and re-pairing with no luck. Searched the internet and find that the Charge does not support Bluetooth text. My old LG Env worked just fine.
Thanks Verizon. Your most advanced and expensive 4G phone on the market does not support basic text functions that older generation phones could support. Couple that with a phone that has a front facing camera yet did not come loaded with the proper software to run Skype and you have to wonder if the slogan should be "Droid Doesn't" instead of Droid Does.
Agreed here, I just purchased new 2011 Ford F-150 and recently Droid Charge, but no text capability in my Ford Sync Program, really? Definitely needs updated to do this please!
