Droid Charge Equals Repeat Of Fascinate Without The Update!

I previously had a Samsung Fascinate which when updated to Android 2.2 (Froyo) had a lot of issues that made the phone pretty much useless. After many phone calls to Verizon Tech Support I finally got the option to pick from three phones. The phones being: HTC Droid Incredible 2, Motorola Droid X2, or the Samsung Droid Charge. I picked the Charge knowing it was the best option because of the 4G LTE capabilities. This was a reluctant choice because after the torture I went through with the Fascinate I didn't really want to stick with Android. Now my Charge is having many of the same issues as the Fascinate plus some. I'm so frustrated with this phone.

Two different phones with the same issues? Sounds like user error to me.
Perhaps if you elaborated on the issues, someone around here could help you out.
