Droid Charge newbie

Hi All,

Just received my Droid Charge a week ago as a gift. Everything was going well, but now cannot connect to the server. Please help!

It's a problem with the phone. Many other people have the same problem but Verizon is ignoring the issue. My recommendation is to get another phone if you can.

Stay away from 4G, none of the phones work properly and VZW is utterly clueless about solutions. Get a good 3G phone like I should have.

When you pull the menu down is the data button active?

No it is not. Should it be? I live in a 4G area but traveled to a 3G area, that is when the trouble started. I started to look up things on line and am now functioning again. The main trouble will start when I return to AZ where I am a resident and do not have 4G.

Should I return the phone and get a 3 G one? If so, which phone do you suggest?

Yes it should be on that allows your emails to come thru with it off you can make calls and text but that's all.there is an app you can get it's called lte switch it can put you in 4g when your in a 4g area.
