I agree with you generally that the Charge is a really good phone. It's not perfect, but certainly one of the most capable phones I've owned.

VERY glad to see this post. I'm another that really likes the Charge. No technology is without issues but between the forums and VZW tech support, I couldn't be happier. (and I've had to utilize both of those resources to resolve problems) There will no doubt be something better but for now, this phone is terrific. My daughter initially got a Droid 2, then the Droid 3 and then the LG Revolution and FINALLY listened to me and got the Charge. I won't tell the long version but I've had a chance to use all of those phones and they don't come close. (btw, she's thrilled with the Charge). My wife was a long time IPhone user at AT&T and totally loved the phone. I talked her in to trying the Charge & android os initially during the 14 day trial and now she won't go back, so take that for what it's worth. There are still features she liked more on the iPhone, but overall this is a superior device with a vastly more customizable operating system.
I was a 20 yr AT&T customer and trust me, VZW is 100x better and more responsive when it comes to customer service, not to mention vastly superior equipment. I won't go into the LTE network because there is no comparison on the internet experience whatsoever. With children in NYC and Boston, AT&T basic telephone service was virtually non-existent which prompted the switch. Sorry I'm sounding like a major fan boy but overall, VZW gets a +1 from me.

I came from a BB Storm 2 which I loved, but I
could never go back now. It might also be that I was a 'release day' buyer of the original Storm 1. That experience would make anyone count their blessings!
