Droid Email GobbleyGook

I got my droid on the 7th. It's been great. I have two POP3 email accounts that have been working flawlessly. Then, all of a sudden, today, all of the email I send via the Droid is recieved as a bunch of gobblygook on the other end. I typed one word, "sure" and it came out in the other person's email as:

Have you tried powering off and back on?

Hadn't tried it. But just did. Sent a few emails to people to test it out. We'll see what happens.

That almost looks like a picture trying to be decoded in a text only email.... Maybe you added something to your signature or using a different app? Anything changed on the phone before it started happening? Have you checked your pop settings? If all is good, nothing changed...I would call vzw, could be a carrier issue as well...

Also, was it plugged in to your computer while you were sending? I have read in other forums that the droid is sensitive to voltage, mine acts a little crazy while I am hooked up to the pc when I text.....I get double characters ect...some people have said garbage also gets sent. Try it without it being plugged in and see if that helps.

I was not connected to my computer, nor was I sending any sort of attachment or embedded image. Seriously, the message I sent said "sure" ....

The good news is, upon further review, the hard power down seems to have done the trick. Rebooted and now the email glitch is gone. Thanks all.
