Droid GPS Won't Lock

I've had a Droid for about 3 days and it's been working fine. Tonight, the GPS won't lock at all. I can get location based on the cell towers but not GPS. Anyone else having any kind of problem like this? I downloaded GPS Status from the Android Market and it shows 5 GPS satellites in gray (not locked). So it seems the GPS is working enough to see the satellites but just not lock on the signal for positioning.

i live in south florida , got my droid about a week ago. gps has never worked. spoke with multiple techs for both verizon and motorola , they say they never heard of a problem. i refer them to the forums of both thier sites. i cant be the only one having this problem.. . . . . . wasted hours on the phone , and got nowhere !
