Is there a way to find the password entered into my Droid for my gmail account?

I'm sure you can go to https://mail.google.com , enter your username (gmail address) and there should be a way to retrieve your password there.

No because that would ba a real security flaw for a OS... You can reset it if you forgot it but not actually retrieve the number from phone.
