Droid Incredible 2 and Gallery

I am upgrading from my old Motorola Droid to an HTC Droid Incredible 2. On my old device, I could access all my web photo albums (Picasa Web) through my Gallery. On my new device, it doesn't seem to be picking them up. Is there a setting somewhere I can check to add my albums? I am currently signed into my Gmail account on my new device. Any help is appreciated, I would love to be able to access my picasa web albums as I once did on my first Droid.

Thanks, Sandy

Thanks for your replies. On the old Droid phone, it was definitely my actual Picasa Web Albums I was accessing through the Gallery. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but it was a Motorola phone, not HTC. Anyway, I solved my own problem for my purposes. I accessed the website directly, and made a bookmark. When I'm in any of my picasa web albums, I can select my picture and then use it for my wallpaper or save it to my device. This was the main reason I was looking for the albums in my gallery. It isn't as quick to access because I go through the browser instead of Gallery to access but I am happy with it and can get used to a new way of accessing my photos. Thanks again!

I don't think I have ever seen any of HTC's android phones include a sync with the Picasa albums.

There might be a application available in the Market that will help you get a way to sync with Picasa.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Is your pictures on the Sd card if so you may be able to after shutting down your Moto Droid pull the sd card an insert it in your new Dinc 2 as i did with my BB into my Dinc. Or you could transfer you pictures to the P.c from the Moto then pute them back in your new phone but they may look a little different because of the structor of the two phones. as mine did. an when i done the swamp on mine i was able to listen to the rigtones i had on my BB.

I am having a problem where my Incredible 2 seems to have deleted a photo I took last night. I posted the photo to a couple social networking sites yesterday, and now the photo doesn't show up in my gallery or anywhere else. Anyone know what could have happened?

Hi splunge54,

I would suggest you format your SD card. This procedure will erase all data on the memory card. I strongly recommend you back up the data first. To format: Applications>Settings>SD Card & Phone Storage>Unmount SD Card>Format SD Card>Format SD Card>Erase Everything.   I hope this information is helpful.  Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for you involvement in our community forums,

I have nine test photos on my sd card.  But after a day of Gallery viewing them in gallery - the next day it says "no photos found".  So I remove the droid shell and the back cover, take out and insert the sd card - and presto - the photos are back in the gallery.  I put the phone back in the shell and after a day the gallery cannot again find the photos.  I have to fix this problem as I want to do lots of photos and send them.  Think I need service?
